Some of our September

Fall is here and there is a distinct change in weather.  It’s very chilly in the morning when the boys walk to their school bus stop.  We also noticed the shorter day as we had to adjust our lamp timers by an hour.

The boys are back to school and I am relishing the reduced noise inside the house… at least until 3:30pm.  The boys still don’t have their “playground” since the basement got flooded. They’ve invaded my area ever since!

Back to my morning routine, fixing their lunch box: milk, fruits, yogurt/pudding, bread or rice meal.  (The boys have different preferences)
Playdate with Raf’s classmate, who happens to be the godson of my sister-in-law!  His mother is my sis-in-law’s friend since high school.  Small world!
One of those days… “Oh mom, something happened in school and I got hurt!”
It wasn’t serious, nothing that a mom’s kiss and a fancy bandage can’t heal.

The twins also turned nine this month.  Like last year, we celebrated it twice.  We had a picnic at the lakeside with friends and buffet lunch with family.

Their school bus mates and family friends.
What are they looking at?
Their object of interest.

I asked the boys what do they want: a dog or a sister?  I can’t believe they’re undecided, they’re torn!

Grampy and Grammy came to join us.
Sunday brunch.
The 9-year old fraternal twins… in Grampy’s jacket.
Excited to open their gifts.
Merci beaucoup!
Thank you for celebrating with us.
