October 1, Tuesday
Marco and Gabby had their one-year recall for ortho check-up at 7:55 this morning. Gabby still has 12 baby teeth, a bit late for his age, indicative of his slower physical maturity. Marco has only two baby teeth left. For certain, the twins will have to wear braces, probably next year. Le rendez-vous chez l’orthodontiste ended at 8:45 and the twins were at school at 9am. I was back in time to bring Raf to school.

This morning I transplanted the last set of my seedlings to the flower bed and planted some spring bulbs too. I spent a good two to three hours of digging, amending the soil, and planting. It was hard to stop once you get going. HOWEVER, in the afternoon, the cute furry squirrels visited my freshly made dirt bed and DUG UP and ATE my bulbs! They aren’t cute to me anymore.

More gardening… with Gabby

Planting bulbs in pots, then burying it in the ground and mulching over it. Hopefully they don’t freeze.

This year, we’re one of the hosts of Dinner 4 Eight. It’s a community building activity at our parish which gives parishioners an opportunity to relax and enjoy the company of other parishioners.

October 22, Tuesday
Gabby saw his classmate brought passionfruit to school for snacks. He got curious so he asked me to buy a few. Upon tasting he said, “Oh that’s why my classmate looks like he’s smiling when he eats this. It’s sour!!!”
