November 11, Monday
Outside my window… currently 3˚C, light rain, real feel -8˚C. DH and I raked the leaves this afternoon.

On my mind… I can’t stop thinking about our fellow countrymen affected by the typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan. It breaks my heart reading news about it and seeing photos of the aftermath. I have friends/former officemates who have families in the affected areas, some of them haven’t heard from their family members yet. Our thoughts and prayers go to them.
From the kitchen… It’s Meatless Monday, so it’s fish for dinner. Steamed fish, Chinese style.

Something new I want to try… pattern making.
My week is looking… good. Lots of stuff to do, but none are really urgent.
Photos to share….
Another Meatless Monday… Salmon fillet glazed with maple and soya, served with lemon bok choy.

Marco liked his fish.
Green smoothie: spinach, kale, orange and pineapple
Gabby upgrading his Macbook.
Another Meatless Monday photo… Gabby cleaning fresh mackerels.
KQOTD: It was that time of the month when I get annoyed pretty quickly; I was hot-tempered. Raf: Ooh, I could feel mom is going to be nasty. Riel: Yeah, so you watch out. It’s hormonal… and it happens every month. Raf (to me): Mom, is that something you can control. Me: No! Raf: Oh, just like Hulk?
