For today, June 25 (Tuesday)
Outside my window… gray skies and damp ground, intermittent shower.
I am thinking… do I finish all the laundry now or continue tomorrow.
I am thankful… for a well-stocked pantry. I experiment in the kitchen when the mood strikes me and nothing frustrates me more than having a missing ingredient or not enough of what I need. This time I am so glad to find an unopened bag of bread flour.
I am creating… homemade cinnamon rolls. This is what I needed the bread flour for. This recipe needs to be altered, too sweet in my opinion and the bread is too dense. Will try it again and perhaps give the dough ample space to expand.
