It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas…

…ev’rywhere you go.

I’m done setting up our Christmas tree.  It looks decent although I wanted to put more lights and trinkets.  DH capped a strict budget on me so I guess that will do for now.  In the meantime, I’m working on our Christmas surprise which is coming soon.  I’ve gathered enough materials for that the past days.  Hopefully I won’t be derailed by procrastination so I can upload it soon.

For today (Saturday, December 18, 4:36pm)

Outside my window… the four boys are out in the backyard playing with snow.

I am thinking… if I should join them or not.

I am thankful for… my boys who continue to inspire me.

From the garden… the boys are reinforcing their snow forts.  The snowman I made last week lost its head, eek!

From the kitchen… tomato-based lengua is in the pot.

I am wearing… black Zara pants, thermal shirt, and of course an apron.

I am creating… our Christmas surprise.

I am going… to a Christmas potluck dinner tomorrow.

I am reading… Time’s article on Person of the Year 2010.  It’s Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

I am hoping… for a new DSLR camera.  I may have to wait for a couple of months though.

I am hearing… R&B songs playing in the background.

Around the house… ummmm… dust?

One of my favorite things… the undisturbed snow.  It’s very beautiful.

A few plans for the rest of the week… finish the Christmas shopping.

Here’s a picture I am sharing:

I found this winter tuque.  It has a visor, it’s hot pink, and it has a bow.  Love it.

KQOTD.  So I gained a few pounds and it’s visible in the shirt that I was wearing.  As I emerged from the room, Gabby saw me and said: Mom, your shirt shrunk when you washed it!  (hahaha… see, it’s the shirt’s fault, not me!)
