Give Me Five

Number 1:  And so they left….

All good things must come to an end.

The boys already miss their Grammy and Grampy.

Going places…
…and just being around.
The way they took care of us… (Grammy, we miss your cooking.  Our milagrosa rice and “mixes” are running out!)
…and provided for us.  (Our freezer was never this full.)
Grampy, we hope your toe heals well.  We look forward to your return.
Just so you know, the boys prayed for your safe trip back home.

Number 2: We are on our last piece of Ikea D-I-Y furniture. Yay!

After putting together 32 pieces of furniture by ourselves, I think we already have a fallback career.

Number 3:  I got a new toy, a Canon G10 point-and-shoot camera.  Sometimes I just find my DSLR too bulky to carry, with its lens, extra batteries and flash, the system already occupies 3/4 of my bag.

Some shots taken by the G10:
Along Champlain bridge, inside a moving vehicle.
In black and white.
Natural light, sunset mode.
Unlike the DSLR, the G10 is small enough to hold it backwards, point the lens at you, and press the shutter for a self-portrait.
Me and my roommate.

Number 5:  We visited the public market and bought fresh fruits.  Gabby is just too ecstatic to find fresh mangoes (though not as sweet as Philippine mangoes).

At the market, we found this:

Marco is a brand of beer! Tee hee  Marco wasn’t as receptive as Gabby to have his picture taken beside the bottles, lol!
