From the Minds of Children

Traveling with kids can be amusing.

KQOTD-1. Aboard the plane, Raf wonderingly asked: Mommy, why are girls not allowed inside the plane?  Me:  Of course girls are allowed on the plane.  I’m a girl and I’m here.  Where did you get that idea?  Raf: Here… (pointing the highlighted sign below):

KQOTD-2.  Still aboard the plane.  Gabby: Mommy, how do you turn on the light like that man over there?  (He meant the reading light) Me: Here, you press this (showing him the lightbulb icon).  Gabby: Oh… you just press the “foot”?

KQOTD-3.  At Vancouver airport exchanging money at RBC.  Marco:  Mommy, this bank doesn’t know how to spell.  They forgot the other “C”.  It should be R-C-B-C!  (RCBC was my former office in Manila.   RBC is a different bank.  It stands for Royal Bank of Canada).

[Updates]

And so we’ve landed:

My offspring in green, red, and blue.
We went around town.
We walked around town.

We had lunch at Chinatown.

Tito Phil (my FIL’s high school classmate) and wife, Tita Mely, drove us around town.
We stopped momentarily at a park.
The kids like this rope climber…
…and the slide.
… and this merry-go-round pole.
Oh the kids love the park.  Amen.
