Bonjour April! (and a big news)

Yesterday I was chatting with my sister and I excitedly told her the big news: we’re expecting a new family member! She immediately called my mom.  They were very happy for me and hoped that it’s a girl this time.  Yeah, I hoped so too.  Then they asked me if it would risk my upcoming Manila visit… would it be better to cancel the trip and just stay home.  I could sense a little disappointment.  So I typed back: April Fools!!!  Lol, my Ate said that my mom almost cursed me.  Sorry… I would have wanted to see your facial reactions, but you know that I wouldn’t be able to pull the joke off over skype!  I was hysterical the whole time, just so you know.  I love you anyway.

Today’s Daybook (April 2, 2:29pm)

The weather… it’s thawing!  It’s 11ºC outside and they’re getting the bikes out.  (Tito Phil, do you know who influenced them coz I’m clueless?)

Noticing the sound of… the birds chirping outside.  They’re back!
Enjoying the aroma of… Korean beef ala House of Kimchi

Homemaking… vacuum clean the house.  There’s dust everywhere.

Appearance… still in my pyjamas.

Recent purchase… the boys’ haircut.

Something new… Gabby’s front teeth coming out.  At last!  (KQOTD: Sheesh, I forgot how it feels to have front teeth!)

Learnings… the boys choosing and buying their own meals in the food court.  Although they still have a lot to learn.  One time, they got carried away, they gave a tip of $2.00 for purchasing two bottled waters worth $3.00.

Coveting… the iPad 2.  It’s out!  There was a loooooong line in front of my favorite store.  *sigh*

Places… at Downtown last week.  Marco was invited to his classmate’s Laser Tag birthday party and he managed to get his two brothers invited too.  He said they’re a package deal.  Take it or leave it.

Current project… spring garden.  Still unsure about this… it’s very different from what I normally do.
Commitments… bring some of my paintings to the Community Center for exhibit.  The others are still in the frame shop.
