Before I forget… (Part 1: Strawberry Picking)

Earlier this month, we went strawberry picking with friends and visited a little town called Upper Canada Village in Ontario.  A few selected pictures were posted on Instagram but I took much much more.   I had planned to keep the others in the hard drive but I got a text from my Mom telling me that looking through my photos has become one of her pastimes (and joys too?).  So I’m uploading more for her and everybody else to see.

Our first stop was Terry-Lin Berry Farm.  It’s less than an hour’s drive from home.Image

The boys enjoyed picking and munching on the berries.

My boys don’t remember their strawberry-picking days in Baguio.
This was taken in 2008, one year before we left for Montreal.
The strawberry field in La Trinidad, Baguio: they plant the strawberries on mounds and use black plastic instead of straw to keep them dry.
Wait, one more look at  my boys (when they were still so cute and I could still dress them alike without protest).

Now back to Terry-Lin berry farm.  This is Riel’s loot:
