As much as I wanted to keep this blog updated, life happens.
I read somewhere that if you want to know what someone fears losing, watch what they photograph. Here’s a day-to-day account of our April.
As soon as the calendar page flipped to April, I got excited about the start of a new season. I couldn’t wait for spring, impatient for the snow to melt and see nature in lively colors.

We scheduled our blood test on a Good Friday. We could be at the hospital early since the boys didn’t have school that day. What we didn’t know was that the laboratory was closed because it was a holiday, duh. That explained the ample parking space that morning.
Good Friday was fasting and abstinence; my growing boys slept hungry. I told them it’s good for the soul.

Part of the children’s preparation for their confirmation next month is a visit to Mary, Queen of the World cathedral in downtown. The boys’ sponsors, Fred and Yvelle and Mon and Jojie were there with us.
Below are snippets of our everyday life.
