This was the first digital scrapbook album that I made, back in 2004. I shifted from the traditional paper scrapbooking to digital scrapbooking because I found the materials (papers, tools, supplies) getting more and more expensive, particularly when I make multiple copies of an album. Not to mention that my roommate was already complaining about my stash of supplies taking over our bedroom. I found that my style in digital scrapbooking is geared towards dimension and texture. I also incorporated lots of traditional scrapbooking techniques such as photo matting, embossing, stitching, paper tearing, stamping, stenciling, ink blots, and distressing — except that it was all done in my computer.
